CITY & GUILDS 6160 09 LEVEL 2 AWARD IN WORKING IN MEDIUM RISK CONFINED SPACES

The Confined Spaces 6110 City and Guilds have made a clear demarcation between ‘Entrants’ are the workers going inside a Confined space. ‘Supervisors’ or ‘Managers’, are those controlling people going inside confided Space administrative staff.

Courses covered are for teams ‘entering’ and the risk level appropriate to Low, Med and High They concentrate on the equipment required and how to perform an entry in a safe and procedural manner. Confined Space delegates performing high risk course are required to be clean shaven due to the Breathing apparatus used.

These qualifications are for those working in confined spaces either in a water or non-water environment. Learners may be undertaking roles in confined spaces at low, medium, or high-risk levels.

The qualifications allow learners to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment or career progression within chosen sector.
